Asher Johnston's No.18 The HQ Enduro meeting finally gave us some reward for the team's efforts over the last 2-3 months. Pole position, 2 wins and a 2nd place in the 3 15 lap races was a fantastic result for the Check It Out Graphics, GAC team.

The cherry for our weekend was regaining the Multistate Challenge Trophy, which I first won in 2005. To win it back now with the GAC is a very rewarding feeling and proof we are making progress.

I wasn't unchallenged on-track, with both Bo Jensen and Cameron Waters showing some real speed. Unfortunately Cam went home early with chassis issues with this Jacer.

In the first and third race I managed to break the draft on the first lap and pull away to a 10+ second lead on both occasions.

I still feel there is more in the car and we have some new issues to resolve before the next State round in September.

Special thanks to Brenton from Bridge Crash Repairs for repairing our bodywork at such short notice, and the Check It Out Graphics team - Leon, Tommo, Dad and Kev.
